I am enjoying your Library Blog. I enjoyed reading some of the stories found on the site.
Can’t wait to see what you have up for March and April. Good job!!!! Some of my students said they went on the site over the weekend. I don’t know if they wrote to you or not.
Mrs.Green I really enjoy your reading blog. It has a lot to do what you teach us. So I want to thank you. I want to ask you a question. How do you make your own website?
Thank you Na’Tia. I get excited when I see my students respond to the web site as well.
So you would like to make your own website. First get your parents’ permission. Then go to http://wordpress.com and follow their instructions. You will need to give yourself a screen name and a password. Check with me at school and I can help you more. Jawaun wants to start one too.
Miss Green
I love to hear you read to the children it is amazing.
You have a sense that is just great.
Your word press library is absolutely positive amazing.
Hey Mrs.Green. This is Kaliyah. I am not from Battery Park. I am from Chavis. I am in Mrs. Pressley’s homeroom in fifth grade. I love to hear you read, it is very good. I also like your books, they are very funny. I wish you were my library teacher at Chavis. I also like this reading log website because it is good for younger children. Me and my 2 little borthers like to read your books. My baby brother likes the DR.Suess books, he even laughs and he is 3 months. My 7yrs old brother you might know him Keyon Wilson from Mrs. Gaster’s class, well he likes the Tomie dePaola books they makes him laugh. As for me I like all of them because some of them are good for little children.
Thank you for saying so many nice things. I am really going to miss reading to all of you now that I am retired, but I will come back and read as a volunteer every now and then. I hope I’ll see you then.
I have a book about football. It’s called Chicago Bears. It’s about football. We miss you in the library Mrs.Green. Will you come visit us sometime at HES?

Thank you Jasmir. You have melted my heart. I do miss reading good books to my students and I’m regularly looking into the faces of children I see around town to see if I remember them. Whose class are you in this year? Maybe I could visit your class and read a book or two one day soon.
Hi Janice!
I stumbled upon your blog and am always so happy to find someone else who works in the library field. I’m a clerk at our local branch library in Indiana and wanted to say hello to you, another person who’s part of the library family.
And I find your blog very well put together and engaging!
Thank you for your kind words. I enjoyed writing this blog while I was working as a school librarian. I am now retired so it is harder to find time to write on this blog since it was intended to be a place to interact with students about the books I was reading to them. I miss the students and the books a lot.
Dear Mr. Green,
This is one of your students from St.Mark Elementry School. We all will miss you since you are not working at our school any more. Plus we will miss all the fun times we had in your class on Tuesdays and Thusdays.
Thank you, JaDell. It is so nice of you to say so. I will miss you kids too. I hope to keep in touch with you all through Mrs. Green’s Library and Ducker’s Adventures.
